Lil Snupe’s death affected a lot of his close friends in hip-hop, including his mentor Meek Mill.

Meek was quiet all day yesterday after hearing the unfortunate news of Snupe’s murder in Winnfield, La. However, later that night, Meek reacted on Twitter with a series of heartfelt tweets.

The Instagram photos Meek posted were screen shots of a text conversation between him and Snupe. In it, they reveal that Ross was interested in featuring the 18-year-old upstart on the forthcoming Self-Made Vol. 3 LP releasing on August 6. It is still undetermined whether or not Snupe will appear on the album.

The protégé of Mill was a victim of a shooting death. Police authorities were searching for a suspect, but they have yet to find out a motive for the crime.
