Macklemore & Ryan Lewis isn’t slowing down their rapid ascent to the top. The duo’s second single, "Can't Hold Us," off The Heist also reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. With their prior hit “Thrift Shop” featuring Wanz—which stayed at the top for six nonconsecutive weeks—the Seattle pair is the first to take two singles to No. 1 in Billboard’s five-decade history.

Previously, Lady Gaga was the last artist to send two singles—“Just Dance” and “Poker Face”—to No. 1 in 2009. Since then, Macklemore & Lewis are the first act to chart two singles on the Hot 100. In addition, the single has sold 262,000 copies this week.
