With releases from Kanye West, J. Cole and Mac Miller slated for the same day, June 18 is sure to be one of the biggest release days in hip-hop this year. Now, Mac Miller weighs in on the competition.

The Pittsburgh MC recently chopped it with DJ Skee and discussed his sophomore effort Watching Movies With The Sound Off on the same day as Kanye's anticipated Yeezus. Mac said that while he had already set up his album for that date prior to Kanye's announcement, sharing the same release date felt almost prophetic.

"At first, I was like—because I had that date for a while—it felt so right," he said. "I was a little nervous at first, but I was like, this is an omen."
