J. Cole Supposedly Wants To Impress Nas On ‘Born Sinner’

Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg dropped another episode of The Realness. During the morning segment, Rosenberg shed some light on J.Cole’s Born Sinner, which was just pushed up to June 18.

Rosenberg shares an insider story about a possible track named “I Disappointed Nas.” Supposedly, the story is when Cole dropped “Work Out,” Nas reached out to express his disappointment. This song on the album is supposed to make up for that record.

Supposedly there’s a song on the J. Cole album called something along the lines of “I Disappointed Nas,” about how Nas supposedly reached out to J. Cole after he heard “Workout” and was like, “Nah, fam. I expected more from you than this.” And supposedly J. Cole gets really personal and has a whole song about how it felt to have disappointed, obviously, one of his heroes in music, Nas.

We won’t know if this is true or not until the album releases next month. But, this definitely makes Cole’s album much more interesting.
