Too Short will face four misdemeanor charges as a result of his recent DUI arrest. On Friday (April 5), the “Blow The Whistle” rapper was officially charged with two counts of DUI, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of marijuana or an open container while driving, according to a report by TMZ.

As recently reported, the Bay Area legend was initially arrested on March 20 in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence. Short attempted to flee apprehension but was tackled after a short foot chase. Authorities later claimed they found a small amount of meth in the back of the police cruiser the rapper was riding in. Short denied the drugs were his. He was initially hit with felony narcotics possesion but the felony charges were later dropped by the Los Angeles city attorney. Short’s hearing is scheduled for April 15.
