Amidst all the controversy surrounding Rick Ross' date rape lyric on "U.O.E.N.O.," Rocko has decided to remove the Bawse's verse from the song.

In a recent interview with Hot 97, Rocko revealed that he will be taking off Ross' verse from his controversial record given the outpouring of protest. He explained that he will be releasing a new official remixed version sometime soon, possibly with a verse from Ross' former sparring partner Young Jeezy.

“The record instantly became a smash over the All-Star Weekend and stuff like that. It just became a smash in the streets." he said. "With me, I feel like I’m a street artist so I feel like the record with Ross that will always be the original record. But because of the type of attraction the record has as far as like radio and all over the country and things of that nature it puts me in a position to where I have to change it.”

As for the new version, he added, “I have six different verses from all types of different, very talented, multi-faceted artists...I can't confirm that [Young Jeezy will appear on it], I know he did a verse [but] I haven't put the final record together yet. With all respect to the homie Ross, because it’s a catch-22. Cause it’s like I don’t want to take him off, but one thing about it, one thing's that set in stone he's t doesn’t matter who I put on the song that’s gonna always be the original version of it. It’s not like I can do another verse and be like, ‘Okay, this the original right here.’”

Most recently, Ross apologized for the lyric via Twitter, saying that he was sorry for the "#lyric interpreted as rape.”
