UPDATE: Iggy Azalea & Island Def Jam Confirm Record Deal

Iggy Azalea has inked a new record deal, courtesy of Def Jam.

UPDATE: Representatives from Island Def Jam have released a statement confirming that Iggy Azalea is now a member of the Island Def Jam family. Island Records president David Massey spoke on the signing, saying that he is thrilled Azalea chose Def Jam as her new musical home.

"Iggy has created a massive buzz and rightfully so: she's incredibly talented, she's focused, driven, and has great creative tastes and instincts. Azalea echoed Massey's excitement, saying, "I am elated to be a part of the Island Def Jam family! Fresh off the release of her latest singles "Work," Iggy Azalea is currently working on her debut album The New Classic.
