Fans are excited to hear Q-Tip is working on another solo project, called The Last Zulu, due out sometime in 2014. Now, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is crossing his fingers that fellow A Tribe Called Quest members reunite for his album.

During the group’s reunion show at South By Southwest, the rapper tells Billboard that “"hopefully Phife Dog and Ali Shaheed Muhammed will make an appearance on it, and Jarobi (White)."

Tip added he’s ready for the album and explained the concept behind it. “The beats are gonna be hard. It's gonna be traditional, like, Zulu beats... old school Africa Islam tapes, with the drum breaks and shit like that. It's just got a good drive to it. I'm really excited about it."

Meanwhile, Q-Tip continues to stay busy. He has been doing a lot of production work, stating he’s worked with Mariah Carey, D’Angelo and John Legend. He also wants to DJ with Muhammed sometime in the future.
