Regardless of what some may think of their rap skills respectively, Will Smith (f.k.a. The Fresh Prince) and Percy Miller (a.k.a. Master P) both have crazy bank. In addition to their interests in music and film, the hip-hop dads both have kids following in their footsteps. At just 12-years-old Will’s son Jaden has appeared in three major films (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Day the Earth Stood Still and this summer’s blockbuster The Karate Kid).

His little sister Willow, 9, has three films under her belt (I Am Legend, Kit Kitridge: An American Girl and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa) as well. Now she’s making waves on the airwaves with her pop single, “Whip My Hair,” which earned the tyke a spot on Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

Master P’s nepotism is notorious, as he employed his brothers C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker as artists on his No Limit label, and groomed his son Romeo, 21, to be a triple threat as a rap star, actor and ball player. Earlier today, P’s 14-year-old daughter, Cymphonique, released a new single, “Soldier Girl,” that got us her at XXL thinking about the similar career trajectories of these second generation hip-hoppers.

Since the young ladies seem to be ripping the airwaves, we figured we’d stick to them for now and leave the boys out of it. Sorry, Jaden and Romeo. Check out Willow and Cymphonique’s songs and let us know who y’all think is really ‘bout it ‘bout it. —Anslem Samuel
