Mac Miller to Appear on Maroon 5′s “Moves Like Jagger (Remix)”

Mac Miller's popularity has been rapidly growing in the last few months, and things are about to get even crazier, as he's set to appear on the official remix to one of the biggest songs in the country.

Last night, the 2011 XXL Freshman tweeted, "i dont know if i'm allowed to say this but i'm on the OFFICIAL remix to the #2 song in the country... #MovesLikeJagger." Today, Maroon 5's publicist confirmed exclusively to XXLMag.com that the young Pittsburgh MC will indeed be featured on the  remix to the group's track that hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late August. The original version of the song features Christina Aguilera.

There's no word yet on when the remix is set to drop, or if any other artists will be featured on the song.

Mac Miller's debut album Blue Slide Park is scheduled for a Fall release. He's currently overseas and is kicking off a nationwide tour in New York City on September 22. —Adam Fleischer
