Joey Bada$$ is about as East Coast as it gets, but as he proved when he killed Future's "Mask Off" instrumental, that doesn't mean he's unable to spazz on beats from other rap sub-genres.

Still, we don't exactly expect for him to jump on a beat from the same producer who's crafted the audio canvases for some of Young Thug's biggest bangers. The thing is, he apparently just did. Recently, London on Da Track previewed a collab he's done with the Pro Era MC, and it actually sounds incredible.

In the video clip, which London uploaded to social media himself, we hear Joey dripping through a super animated beat sounding as in control as ever. From the sounds of things, he definitely spazzes.

"Handle beef with the spatula/Niggas is not of my caliber/Days numbered on my calendar/'Mask Off' got massacred, blast off now I'm out of here/Took her back to my bachelor," he raps on the track, sounding as effortless as ever.

This preview comes a short while after it was revealed Joey's been in the studio heavy with the one and only Diddy. Apparently the two have something special in the works. During an appearance on the A Waste of Time With ItsTheReal podcast, Statik Selektah spoke on the work Joey and Diddy have been putting in lately.

“The way Puff was talking to Joey was reminiscent of that Bad Boy, Brooklyn — it was a good vibe," Selektah explained. "Something amazing’s going on with that. Joey’s been in the lab with Swizz Beatz — this is all stuff you can see on Instagram. What’s about to happen next is going to be great.”

We have no idea when Joey's work with Diddy will see the light of day. The same goes for his collab with London on Da Track, except at least with that one we've got a preview.
