Normally the recording process for a rapper ranges from months to sometimes even years. Well, in terms of Logic, he only needed two weeks to get his debut album recorded, as he told MTV News.

“It took two weeks to record the majority of the album,” Logic told MTV News. “Don’t get me wrong — years went into it; there’s concepts and things that were around long before.”

While the recording process was considerably short, The DMV bred emcee and former XXL Freshman alluded that he indeed takes time to craft his projects.

With this album serving as his first, you can expect Logic to tackle all his songs solo, as he opted to not have any guest appearances on the album.

“I wanna Illmatic it; I wanna Nas it,” he said. “No huge guest appearances, because I wanna tell my story. This is my introduction to hip-hop: Who is Logic? What is he about? Where is he from? A lot of people might have misconceptions, just because [of my] being biracial but looking white, they’ll have that prejudice there.”

There's no release date nor album title as of yet for the young rapper. To hold you over until then, check out Logic's latest track, "Finding Forever."
