Listen to Ishi Feat. Raekwon and French Montana, “We Run”

Swedish producer iSHi taps his inner-gritty New York City production style as he lends his talents to Raekwon and French Montana for "We Run." Spitting greasy over the boom-bap instrumental, French and Raekwon sound right at home as they invoke the spirit of NYC's Golden Age. "'We Run' brings in the organic hip-hop sound that I grew up with -- guys like Wu-Tang Clan, Raekwon, Ghostface. The idea was to take someone like Raekwon who's an old school classic rapper and connect that sound with the new school, in this case French Montana," iSHi told The FADER. "I thought those two worlds could work really nicely. I wanted both the arrangement and with the actual collaboration to shock people." Check out the track below:
