Lil Durk and Young Chop Kill the Mask Off Challenge

The Mask Off Challenge continues to be popular. Future jumped in on the fun surrounding the song he created, and now the challenge is getting some love from two staples of the Chicago hip-hop scene. Lil Durk and Young Chop posted their own rendition of "Mask Off" on Instagram, and the video has already racked up over 29,000 views.

In this version, Lil Durk handles Future's catchy hook. Young Chop mimics the familiar flute sample on the track and hits the high notes while doing it. Once the duo finished their rendition, they could not help but laugh at the comedy of it. Young Chop is seen cracking up in the footage, while Lil Durk is cackling off-screen.

Many participants in the Mask Off Challenge have been doing their own vocal versions of the hit song, just like Lil Durk and Young Chop. Others have simply danced to record. The most compelling entries have been the young Black musicians creating covers of "Mask Off." The popular track has inspired artists to pick up the flute, break out the violin and play the cut on piano.

Lil Durk and Young Chop's Mask Off Challenge is less serious, but the two are likely working on some new music of their own. Lil Durk, who has recently collaborated with Moneybagg Yo and Fat Trel, is sure to grab the attention of drill music fans by pairing with Young Chop.
