Apple Watch Set to Drop in April

During Apple's press conference yesterday, CEO Tim Cook announced the official release date for the much anticipated Apple Watch. Along with the announcement, Apple launched the very first ad for the smart watch.

The Apple Watch will release on April 24 in a number of countries. The innovative timepiece will enable users to answer calls to their iPhones, send text messages and read emails. The watch will carry an 18-hour long battery life and will be available in two different sizes. The watches will be divided into three collections: Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition. Prices for the timepieces will range from $349 to $10,000.

The Apple Watch will be available for pre-order starting April 10 and will retail at Apple locations and department stores.
