For their next collab drop, Supreme has tapped Wu-Tang Clan member, GZA, for the release of an upcoming Liquid Swords collection. Paying homage to The Genius' widely popular second LP, the collection has yet to be fully unveiled by Supreme, but in recent Instagram videos uploaded by the brand, followers can see the Wu-Tang rapper rocking one of the items from their future capsule.

In the short IG clip from Supreme, the GZA is seen sporting a black T-shirt with the Liquid Swords album cover on the front chest area. The back of tee is also teased in the visual and reads vertically, "Basic Instructors Before Leaving Earth," followed by a small Supreme box logo and GZA's signature to finish off the look.

In the video, GZA breaks down the meaning behind the Liquid Swords album title while playing his favorite board game: chess. “You know the tongue is symbolic to the sword and when in motion it produces wind. That’s why you hear that, ‘wu, wu, wu, wu, wu’ that’s that Wu sound when you swinging that sword," says GZA. "The tongue is the sword—double edged sword and wisdom is symbolic to water, it could be compared to water, because of it’s flowing capability so words flow off the mouth as water flows down the banks and the rivers and this why it’s called Liquid Swords—a sharp tongue.”

The GZA x Supreme collab has yet to receive an official release date, but all signs point to a Thurs., Sept. 20 launch. Keep it locked XXL for more release details on this next Supreme collaboration.
