See the First Look at Kaws Uniqlo UT Sesame Street Collection

Kaws will partner up again with global retailer Uniqlo for the upcoming release of a new collaboration themed after iconic PBS show Sesame Street.

Paying tribute to the signature characters featured on the legendary kids show, the latest Uniqlo and Kaws collaboration includes the beloved characters of Big Bird, Oscar The Grouch, Elmo, Ernie, Cookie Monster and more. Consisting of a wide range of T-shirts in spring colors, the collection features the Sesame characters accompanied by a Kaws figure throughout the entire apparel capsule. The Sesame Street personalities will also receive another touch of Kaws’ magic with the addition of the signature “XX” on the eyes of each Sesame character.

News of this collaboration was first teased by Kaws yesterday via Instagram. Providing very little information on the partnership, the acclaimed designer did suggest that the collab would see the day of light around summertime. However, images of the collab have started to circulate online, giving fans a closer look at what to expect from Kaws and Uniqlo.
