2 Chainz’s Versace Chain Reaction Sneakers Get a Release Date

2 Chainz’s highly anticipated Versace Chain Reaction sneaker finally gets a release date. Launching at select retailers in late April, the pair of collaborative shoes will be offered in 7 different colorways and graphic patterns.

Originally unveiled during Versace's F/W 2018 fashion show, 2 Chainz's-inspired Chain Reaction shoe features a neoprene upper with a Greca lace cage, Greca midsole and a chain-link outsole. The high-end silhouette also includes a puff croc neoprene tongue and lining system to provide users with extreme comfort. A 3M reflective tongue gives the pair of sneakers a signature sporty vibe while the TPU lace cage provides lateral stability and the Greca motif highlights the brand's recognizable logo. The Eva uber-light outsole will feature a Greca midsole detail design and a hidden Medusa underneath. Each pair of shoes will feature shoe laces dipped in wax for a more luxurious touch.

The 2 Chainz's Versace Chain Reaction sneakers will range between $995 to $1,350. Releasing on Thurs., April 26, the shoes will be available exclusively at GOAT.com/versace, GOAT app, versace.com, and Versace’s SoHo store.
