Jordan Brand Unveils Air Jordan 1 OG High Gatorade Collection

After last weekend’s release of the Air Jordan VI Like Mike sneaker, Jordan Brand announces the upcoming release of an Air Jordan 1 OG collection, inspired by the Michael Jordan’s iconic 1991 Gatorade campaign.

Compromised of four vibrant and colorful sneakers, this Air Jordan 1 collection pays tribute to the classic flavors of the popular sport beverage. Releasing in lemon-lime, grape, cool blue and orange, the sneakers will feature premium leather uppers with hits of orange on the tongue and lateral heel to represent Gatorade’s signature orange bottle cap. In addition, the shoes will feature an orange lightning bolt on each of the side panels and the wordmark “Be Like Mike” on the inner tongue of each pair.

To go along with the release, Jordan Brand will include a dual branded Jumpman and Gatorade hand towel in each shoe box, in addition to a matching orange hang tag with Jordan brand's old school wing logo.

The Air Jordan 1 OG High Gatorade collection will release in-store at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers as well as online at nike.com on Tues., Dec. 26. Look for Jordan Brand to announce a price point for the sneakers in the days to come.
