Rapper Yo Gotti is the latest hip-hop artist to partner with a footwear brand in 2017. Teaming up with German sportswear brand Puma as the newest brand ambassador of the company, Yo Gotti will bring his Memphis flavor and creative energy to the product design team of the successful brand.

Joining the likes of Rihanna, Big Sean and Roc Nation Executive, Emory Jones, Gotti will continue the brand's legacy through multiple campaign ads and Puma branded events. Along with the partnership, the 36-year-old rapper will team up with Puma to create a slew of collaborative kicks inspired by the iconic sneaker styles of the Puma brand.

“PUMA has been an iconic name in the fashion world for decades, their ability to remain at the top of the game in not only sportswear, but in culture and fashion is inspirational,” said Yo Gotti. “I’m honored to be a part of that legacy."

Gotti's Brand Ambassador gig with Puma marks the first time that the "Rack It Up" rapper signs a deal with a sneaker or clothing brand. As of now, there's no release date or plans for the collab sneaker launch in sight, but expect Yo Gotti to start appearing in Puma's campaign ads in the weeks to come.
