Vans and Peanuts Team Up for New Apparel and Footwear Collection

This fall, Vans continues its relationship with the Peanuts Gang as they present the latest collection of footwear, apparel and accessories for the brand new season. Using original illustrations by Charles M. Schulz, the collection pays homage to the iconic characters and artwork from the original Peanuts holiday TV specials.

Recreating the Sk8-Hi Reissue and Old Skool styles, using Schulz's graphics, Vans covers the entire canvas of both silhouettes with the signature Peanuts graphics. Original designs of Charlie Brown and Snoopy can be seen on both shoes—outfitted with leather side-stripes. Paying homage to the holiday theme comic strip scenes, Schulz's designs also include party scenes from the TV special, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Half Cab, Vans designers also included Snoopy and his family members across the canvas panels of the Half Cab. Snoopy’s brother, Spike, is also featured on the Half Cab’s tongue label with a checkerboard printed hat and Schulz signature embossed into the suede toe box. Vans will also release a Checkerboard Slip-On that has been reimagined to include the expressions of Snoopy.

Along with the release of the footwear collection, Vans and Peanuts will release an apparel and accessory collection that will be available in a range of prints to match the footwear assortment.

The latest Vans x Peanuts collection of footwear, apparel and accessories will be available at select Vans retail stores and at vans.com, starting Sat., Oct. 6.
