Today, Jordan Brand gives one if its most popular silhouettes the all-red treatment with the unexpected drop of the Air Jordan 5 this morning.

Taking cues from the 2009 “Toro” version, this Air Jordan 5 model features an all-red suede upper with hits of black on the Jumpman logo, sock linear and midsole. Reflective metallic silver accents on the tongue also complement the sneakers’ look, while an icy blue translucent outsole rounds out the look. Inspired by the 1990 World War II fighter planes, Jordan Brand replicates a shark-mouth nose art on the midsole of each Air Jordan 5 and a bubble unit adds Nike’s signature technology to the canvas.

The Air Jordan Flight Suit released earlier today via Jordan Brand's website. Look for the shoes to also be available at select Nike and Jordan Brand retailers, for a suggested price of $190.

In related Jordan Brand news, the Jumpman will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Air Jordan 13 silhouette with a special re-release this fall, so keep it locked with XXL for more details behind this future release.
