On Monday (July 10), Tyler, The Creator officially confirmed his partnership with Converse by releasing a campaign video via Twitter, where the hip-hop artist stars as the leading character of the "One Star" visual. Highlighting the brand's push of the classic One Star silhouette, Tyler and his Odd Future buddies put the One Star shoe to the test with a number of death-defying challenges.

A new face to the Converse brand, Tyler leaves behind his longtime partnership with Vans, which began in 2014 and saw the release of multiple footwear collabs and an apparel collection. Releasing his last collaborative work with Vans in fall of 2016, it's been a minute since fans last heard of his Vans partnership, with many left waiting for news on the next Vans collaboration. However, now that Tyler is no longer with the West Coast brand, it's more than likely we'll get a Converse x Tyler shoe in the near future.

Back in June, rapper Tyler, The Creator, was spotted wearing a pair of unreleased yellow Converse One Stars—leaving many people to believe he had left his partnership with Vans. However, at the time of the spotting, the Converse news remained just a rumor, until today when Tyler confirmed the news with the visual.
