Back in November of 2016, Nike unveiled the new version of its Air Force 1 silhouette to the world, with the introduction of the game-changing Special Field AF1 sneaker. Since then, the Swoosh has released multiple colorways of the high-top silhouette, and most recently, Nike introduced a new version of this sneaker, but in a mid-cut model.

Nike will debut this Special Field Air Force 1 Mid in a black and tiger stripe camouflage makeup with a hits of white on the side panel, which should be releasing in the coming weeks. Keeping the signature ankle straps and the grain leather with a nylon upper, Nike's new SF AF1 features a slight change to its canvas with the addition of a double-zipper entry at the heel of each shoe. To close out the sneaker's new modified look, the Swoosh gives the midsole and outsole a translucent look with a clear bottom.

Nike's announcement on the new version of the SF AF1 Mid comes days after the silhouette was leaked online. With multiple shades of the shoe surfacing on the internet, sneakerheads waited 'til today for Nike to give them some type of information on these shoes.

Set to release on Sat., June 8, at select Nike Sportswear locations, the shoes will also be available for purchase online at nike.com.
