Snpachat king DJ Khaled took over SoHo in downtown Manhattan Wednesday afternoon (April 18) for the debut of his We the Best pop-up shop at sneaker boutique Stadium Goods.

Surrounded by hundreds of his fans, Khaled arrived at the location around 4 p.m. and was greeted by a rowdy New York crowd who chanted and cheered for the Miami DJ.

While outside of Stadium Goods, the madness continued, but Khaled managed to make his way inside the sneaker boutique and greet those in attendance. With a few wall decals displaying the We the Best merchandise, Khaled sat on a royal chair and welcomed fans to take pictures of him as he signed copies of his Sneaker News cover. Along with all of the fan love in the building, Khaled made sure to Snap the mayhem for his followers to see.

In between the special meet and greet, DJ Khaled took time from his hectic schedule to answer a few questions for the press in the building. XXL had a chance to chop it up with the "All I Do Is Win" creator to discuss his recent visit to the White House and the upcoming release of his ninth studio album, Major Key.

XXL: How was your trip to the White House and meeting President Obama?

DJ Khaled: Meeting President Obama was amazing. Very inspiring. I feel real good because it’s about representing the young world and how to uplift each other and how to push us to be greater and make sure we don’t fall or get trapped or get in trouble, you know what I mean. Stay focused, you know what I mean. Love is the answer.

So for me to talk with Obama and the conversation I had with him, I was letting him know that me and my fans have a special connection and it’s love and I believe that love is the answer. Meaning as in, when you put love out there you know the world can change to be even greater, so I felt like if all of us in that room, you know, put out that amazing love out there, I feel like there’s going to be more love and the key is to keep having more love. So sitting with Obama was amazing and I’m very inspired. I got my new album coming out this year and it’s called Major Key and it’s my best work ever.

Is that rumored Jay and Future track on there?

Of course Jay Z and Future is on it. Yes, I went to the studio with Jay Z and Future and I put together a serious anthem, but I have some other ones as well… [laughs]. Stay tuned. Be ready!
