Rihanna and Puma Unveil the Fenty Trainer

The wait is finally over for the first collaborative release between Rihanna and German sportswear brand Puma. The Fenty Trainer, which was unveiled earlier today, is the follow up silhouette from RiRi and Puma after the successful release of the Creeper model.

The Fenty Puma will be the first original sneaker from Rihanna since signing with Puma in September of 2015. Serving as a brand ambassador for Puma, the "Work" singer has helped bring value and mainstream appeal to the sportswear company. With the Rihanna and Puma unveiling three iterations of the Fenty silhouette, the demand and hype for these sneakers is increasing by the minute. Offered in all black, all red and all white versions, the three silhouettes are low top running sneakers with an extended tongue that goes above the ankle. More highlights from the shoe are the over-extended heels, the futuristic side panels and midsole as well as the lace-less look. All three sneakers dropping are dubbed as -“Whiteout” “Blackout” and “Red Alert.”

Expected to release at select Puma retailers and boutiques, the Rihanna x Puma Fenty Trainer launches on Friday, Feb. 26. As of now, the suggested pricing for the silhouette has not been unveiled, but stay tuned with XXL to get more details not eh release of Rihanna's next sneaker with Puma.
