UPDATE:

New information on the much-anticipated Drake Air Jordan 10 "OVO" sneaker has just been released. The shoe, which was scheduled to drop this Saturday, Sept. 12, has now been pushed back to Oct. 3. Although, the Jordan Brand hasn't given a reason as to why the sneaker was postponed, we assume that in terms of good marketing, the release will tie in with Drizzy born month and his OVO imprint.

The much-hyped about Drake x Air Jordan 10 collaboration now has a release date to the delight of sneakerheads and Drizzy fans.

Released in limited quantities back in April at the OVO pop-up store in Los Angeles, this AJ 10 collab was rumored to be a general release. With detailed images of the shoe and its packaging leaking out on the internet, the shoe has officially received a release date courtesy of the Jumpman and Drizzy.

Taking to their social media pages, the Jumpman's Twitter account dropped the news of Sept. 12 release date. Shortly after, and in midst of the 2015 OVO Fest, Drizzy took to Instagram and posted an official image of the sneakers packaging along with the release date, only confirming that the month of September will be a great one for sneakerheads.

With a release date and detailed images of the shoe floating around the web, the sneaker community will just have to wait on the confirmation of the next collaborative silhouettes between Drake and the Jordan Brand.
