A few weeks back, 14-year-old Gokul Venkatachalam made national headlines when he was crowned co-champion at the 88th annual Scripps National Spelling Bee, but unlike most champions from the past, Venkatachalam received much praise from sneakerheads and basketball fanatics after he was seen rocking a pair of Air Jordan 11's and a LeBron James Cleveland Cavaliers jersey.

With the news of Gokul's love for sneakers, LeBron James and the Cavaliers spreading across the web after his spelling bee win, the King took notice and had his camp reach out the young Spelling Bee champ. To the delight of Venkatachalam, upon his arrival back to St.Louis, the 14-year-old was greeted to a special care package from James' Family Foundation and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The care packages included a special Player Exclusive pair of Nike LeBron 11 Elite sneakers, Cleveland Cavaliers' apparel, Betas by Dre headphones and a LeBron 12 "All Star" silhouette signed by King James.
