One of the most popular silhouettes in the Nike catalog is the Nike Air Max Penny 1, the sneaker has been the top choice for many sneakerheads including Alejandro Munoz, an eight-year-old born with kidneys that have never worked well and eventually fail.

Munoz took to the Nike Air Max Penny 1, and inspired by his love for the San Francisco 49ers, recreated the classic Nike silhouette with personal drawings and designs printed over the Air Penny 1 "Doernbecher." The entire upper of the shoe is reflective with hits of red in the lining and heel loops.

The Nike Air Max penny 1 "Doernbecher" will be released along with an apparel set on Nov. 23 at select Nike retailers.
