K. Roosevelt Featuring Pell “Str8 Up”
With Hit-Boy and Audio Push already making waves as acts, it could be time for HS87's K. Roosevelt to get his shine. Fresh off the Los Angeles Leakers' The 2015 Draft Picks mixtape, K. Roosevelt teams up with Pell on "Str8 Up." Showing off his impressive vocals, Roosevelt goes in on self produced, clap-heavy instrumental before Pell comes in to close out the track with a smooth verse. The singer/producer released his JOURNEY EP back in July and has slowly, but surely, been building his buzz and is poised to be the next breakout artist from the super talented HS87 camp.
Pell and Roosevelt show that the West Coast sound is alive and intact. Pell has been putting in steady work and caught the eye of the hip-hop world in 2014 with tracks like "Runaway" and "Wait On Me."
Compared to the rest of HS87, K. Roosevelt provides a nice change of pace from the crews rugged raps. A crooner with production skills, K. Roosevelt proves once again that Hit-Boy's eye for talent is undeniable. Check out the track above and be on the lookout for more from the HS87 member.
