In some breaking news, adidas has announced a new partnership with NBA superstar and Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden. The long term deal with the Three Stripes will include an exclusive signature collection, product design collaboration and marketing.

Beginning on Oct. 1, Harden will play a lead role in adidas' global campaign that will start around the beginning of 2015-16 NBA season. As part of the lucrative deal, Harden will also help develop on and off-court signature footwear and apparel collections. The Houston Rockets superstar will also participate in adidas' brand tours in Europe and Asia.

Last week it was rumored that adidas had offered Harden 200 million to leave Nike, but with the breaking news today, it seems like the Swoosh decided not to match adidas' offer.
