Gucci Mane Shows Off Wall Full of Handwritten Raps He Penned in Jail

While Gucci Mane was locked up, his team on the outside was able to put together a career's worth of material via combining previously laid tracks with new beats. But that doesn't mean Guwop was sitting in the Feds resting on his laurels. Apparently the Atlanta rapper was penning rhymes the entire time he was under Federal watch as well.

La Flare recently uploaded a video of himself hard at work in the studio with his engineer. On the wall are dozens of papers that have been pulled out of a notebook. "These all the raps I wrote when I was in prison," says Gucci narrating the video.

Later on in the Snapchat story, Gucci lays down bars in a makeshift booth and dances to the playback.

Gucci is prepping the release of his new album Everybody Looking which will be out July 22. Mike Will Made-It and Zaytoven will be producing the bulk of the project which was recorded in a week.

“I seen him and he looked totally different," said Zaytoven about his reunion with his long-time collaborator. "We hugged, we talked for maybe 10 minutes, and after that it was back to work. Just like old times: I’m making the beat and he’s recording real fast. And we’re sitting back listening to it, laughing.”

The Wop hasn't wasted any time getting back into work mode and has already dropped seven new tracks since he was released including "All My Children" which is touted as the project's first single.
