Eminem's childhood home, which was featured on the covers of The Marshall Mathers LP and its sequel, is no more.

Last week, the state of Michigan deemed it structurally unsafe due to damage caused by a recent fire. As a result, a wrecking crew knocked it down. Deborah Mathers, Eminem's mom, purchased the home in 1987 for $19,900. It was foreclosed in 2001 and taken over by the Michigan Land Bank, which still owns the property.
