While J. Cole is holding down North Carolina for the mainstream, Charlotte's own DuRu Tha King and Deniro Farrar have been helping keep the underbelly of the state's hip-hop scene in motion. The two MCs keep the fresh collabs coming with their latest offering "Corrupted" a gully installment which finds the rappers warning opposition of their position of power. Producer Joe Hodges provides a haunting soundtrack fueled by eerie instrumentation for King and Farrar to spit gutter lyrics about their city's rougher aspects. No word on what project the song will end up on. Look out for big things to come from the NC duo in the near future.
