Curren$y has dominated the grassroots rap circuit for years; his fan base is in unmatched. Now he has a new full-length coming up, Back at Burnie's, a sequel to one of his most popular projects. The info was released via an Instagram post from Spitta himself.

The rapper's caption reads ""#backatburnies @therealmonstabeatz @fortyfps March 16th." Spitta shared the date, the names of the production duo working on the project and the cover designer, Monsta Beatz and CJ Wallis, respectively. The title Back at Burnie's is a reference to Curren$y's 2011 album, Weekend at Burnie's, his fifth studio album. Similar to Weekend at Burnie's, this new album was mostly produced by Monsta Beatz.

The cover of Back at Burnie's is also similar in style and color to the Weekend at Burnie's cover, a continuation of the psychedelic vacation theme (and the nod to the film Weekend at Bernie's).

Spitta has certainly been busy over the last year. Last fall, he went on the Pilot Talk Trilogy tour, a celebration of his well-known series being available on all streaming platforms. He then dropped The Motivational Speech EP, a collab between himself and veteran trap producer Lex Luger in late September. To support the EP, he freed the video for "Pressure."

To wrap the year up in 2017, Spitta unleashed the Monsta Beatz-produced "Old Range," which may have been a hint about his upcoming album.
