Common's upcoming Nobody Smiling is shaping up to be his best album in years.  The Chi-town rapper follows the intense Vince Staples-featuring "Kingdom" with a solo performance on "Speak My Piece."

The Biggie Smalls-sampling beat produced by No I.D. takes a looser approach than the prior singles, using a simple percussion pattern to push itself along. Common handles all the complexity here with a flair.

"Speak My Piece" is one of four solo cuts on Nobody Smiling, which features Jhene Aiko, Lil Herb, Cocaine 80's and Big Sean. The project is due July 22.
