Caleborate impressed fans once again with his 1993 album. But if you have not delved into the West Coast rapper's work, he hopes to change that with the music video for "Consequences." The video sees Caleborate having fun with his crew while reenacting some of the lyrics.

"If you come from where I come from you know I'm used to never having shit/It's the hard knock life so I'm hungry as it gets/And it's hard not tripping when the song stop, niggas be like, Yo that black kid is tight/My nigga when the money start coming in and niggas start acting fake, that's when you know you living right," Caleborate raps.

Caleborate spoke about the creation of the video which he said he was filmed on his latest tour. The Berkley-based rapper and his team knocked out the visual during their time in Los Angeles.

"The video was filmed while I was on the Before Anything Tour with P-Lo," Caleborate said. "Me and all the guys from TBKTR were hella excited to be in L.A., and we wanted to make the most of our time. So I had written out a video idea that maximized all the various props we had with us on our trip to shoot a visual that told a story but also illustrated the lyrics of the song. We ended up killing the entire first full day in L.A. on shooting that video but soon after we wrapped and we watched the clips back, we knew it was worth the time."

Make sure to check out Caleborate's 1993 album if you have not already. The LP features 14 tracks with production handled by P-Lo, Mikos Da Gawd, HBK Gang’s Kuya Beats, Cal-A and Julia Lewis
