Boldy James takes time out to dedicate "Toast to the Kings" to all the hustlers out there doing what it takes to survive. James, who's slowed down flow mixed with a Midwestern twang, was nominated for a spot on XXL's 2015 Freshman cover and "Toast to the Kings" shows why. The deft lyricist was snatched up by Nas and Mass Appeal records and has been building steadily over the past year plus. "Toast to the Kings" is a testament to his hard work and rise from nothing to something.

"'Toast to the Kings' was a dedication to all the real certified street niggas worldwide who do whatever it takes to feed their families without having to  compromise the safety or well being of their loved ones," says James via e-mail. "This is also a celebration for all the stand up individuals who never rolled over on the rest of the Family no matter how much adversity they were faced with. One love to everybody that's facing trying times who hold their heads high and never let people see 'em sweat. Those are the guys I salute, tip my hat and raise my glass to. Cheers to all underworld royalty, d boys, & ConCreatures."

"Toast to the Kings" is a cut from James's 2015 mixtape, Trapper's Alley 2: Risk vs. Reward, which can be downloaded here.
