This morning (Dec. 17), Big Sean stopped by Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club. Though coy on the details of his new album, he clarified the timeline of events surrounding his hit single, "IDFWU." The DJ Mustard-produced, E-40-featuring track is a veritable anthem for a handful of situations—perhaps none more than a painful breakup. But during the interview, Sean tried to quell rumors that the song was written for ex-fiancée Naya Rivera, recalling that he played a demo of the song for her while they were still dating. He does, however, admit that he "may have gone back and changed a few lines."

Sean also spoke about his relationship with Ariana Grande, who he says was already a fan when she met him several years ago. Despite Charlamagne Tha God's protestations, Sean asserted that he loved Grande as a person rather than her commercial stature.
