Andre 3000’s Jimi Hendrix Biopic Will Make U.S. Debut At SXSW

After premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, "Jimi: All Is By My Side" will make its US debut at this year's SXSW. The biopic stars OutKast's Andre 3000 and features the ATLien portraying the guitarist during 1966-67, just as he is on the cusp of stardom.

In other hip-hop film news, director David Laven will debut "SVDDXNLY," a Noisey produced film which takes a look at the life of A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob.

The South by Southwest festival runs from 3/7-3/15 in Austin, Texas.
