When rappers need to let off steam and Twitter’s 140 characters doesn't provide enough space, MCs turn to Instagram. Many hip-hop stars use the social site as an outlet to air their opinions on various cultural and personal topics. From Diddy voicing his dissatisfaction of the rulings in the Mike Brown and Eric Garner cases to Chris Brown apologizing to Karrueche, IG is where rappers let it all out. It's almost as if your favorite spitter is on speed dial. Below are eight of best (and really emotional) rants found on Instagram.

Diddy On Eric Garner

#WATCH .......I can't take it anymore! It's Enough, and enough is enough! Honestly my emotions are all over the place. We as artists, myself included, all have to step up and be better leaders in our communities. It's a hard burden to bear, but we have been chosen whether we like it or not. We need to do whatever we can in a POSITIVE way, to help unite people of all colors in this injustice! In order to be successful, it is very important that we have a well ORGANIZED, STRATEGIC plan. This is super important in order for us to make change!! REAL organization, REAL strategy and a TRUE commitment to not forget and move on like we usually do when the news stops reporting. This has to stop and we as a people are the only ones that can stop it. I truly do not have the right to preach, but I do have the right to speak. #EricGarner #MikeBrown #UNITE

Hopsin On Quitting Rap

I just wanted to take time out to say I appreciate all of u who have supported my music over these past few years. A Lot of u have told me stories about how I have changed your life. You too have changed mine in ways that u can never imagine. Unfortunately, tonight is the night that I am actually moving away to Australia. Over the past couple years I have come to conclusion that this profession just isn't for me, so im going to venture out into new areas of life. I will always be an MC at heart, but this rap stuff just isn't for me. I hope Youguys can respect it. I've signed over my half of the funk volume label to my business partner Dame. I also wished Swizzz, Dizzy Wright and Jarren Benton good luck in their careers. Thank u all! I'm out. Sincerely, Marcus Jamal Hopson aka "Hopsin"
