Fox's hit show Empire made its season two debut last night and featured a heavy dose of big-name cameos and industry jokes that had viewers going wild on Twitter. The show pulled no punches and even took a jab at 50 Cent. Cookie, played wonderfully by Taraji P. Henson, tells her son that "50 Cent's still taking jabs at us. Look at what he wrote on the 'gram. Thirsty ass." The rapper reacted on Instagram saying that he has had previous relations with Henson:

The rapper filmed the response in the studio, which begs the question if 50 is working on new music. Well, along with the Empire response, the MC filmed a 15-minute video full of new music and album talk and posted the clip to YouTube. Last month, the rapper claimed that he had been in Atlanta working with Sonny Digital, London on da Track, 808 Mafia, Zaytoven and Cannon. In the latest clip, the Queens native plays a brand new freestyle and claims that he will drop a new mixtape before the long-awaited Street King Immortal album. Fifty also hinted at a joint album with Eminem saying, "You say Drake and Future do an album together, maybe we'll do one together."
