It's that time of year again. BET announced their official list of nominees for their 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards today (Aug. 18). Fan favorites Drake, Chance The Rapper, Kanye West and more lead the pack as the network announced notable names in 18 categories.

For the third year in a row Drake dominates the nominations pool with 14 noms in categories including Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, and Album of the Year for his platinum-selling fourth album Views. Drizzy's Summer Sixteen Tour co-pilot Future has scored the second-most nominations among the crop. The Atlanta hitmaker boast 10 nominations in categories like MVP of the Year, Hustler of the Year, Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style), Best Mixtape, and Album of the Year for DS2. Everyone's favorite motivational Snapchatter DJ Khaled got some major recognition with nine noms, while Kanye West rounds out fourth place with eight nominations.

The hype of Chance The Rapper in 2016 culminated with his highly-anticipated third mixtape Coloring Book earlier this spring. In return, the Chicago upstart was recognized by the network with nominations in three categories: Lyricist of the Year, Best New Hip-Hop Artist and Best Mixtape. Not bad for a kid who gives his music away for free.

G.O.O.D. Music's newest star child and 2016 XXL Freshman Desiigner scored four nominations, mostly centered around his undeniable viral hit "Panda." Fellow Freshman Anderson .Paak was recognized in the Best New Hip-Hop Artist category as well.

The 10th annual awards show will be taped on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Ga and then will premiere on the network Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Check out the full list of categories and nominees below. Congrats to those recognized!
