2 Chainz and Lloyd Get Personal on “Tru (Remix)”

2 Chainz jumps on Lloyd's hit single "Tru" for the official remix. Tity Boi isn't usually on R&B records but he sounds right at home on this new one.

"No such thing as cold feet/How can I speak, I didn't have heat for a whole week/I boil the water on the oven, to the tub I dumped it/Back and forth to survive, it may seem incompetent," he raps in his verse.

The Atlanta singer sets the vibe for the ladies. He also talks about stepping away from the game, leaving his old situation and being a new man. "This is me so please accept me for who I am/And please accept me for what I do/I'm just doing everything that I can/Cause all I wanna be is true," he sings on the hook.

2 Chainz has been dropping non-stop projects this year, first with Felt Like Cappin', then the ColleGrove album with Wayne, and then a set of mixtapes—Daniel Son; Necklace Don and Hibachi for Lunch. They've all been consistently dope, too, putting him in the running for one of the rop rappers of the year.
