Kid Cudi may have lamented about his label troubles, but it seems his movie career is moving in the right direction.
According to a report by the Hollywood Reporter, Cudder has joined the cast of DreamWorks’ Need for Speed. It’s a film based on the popular racing series created by Electronic Arts.
DreamWorks plans on creating the film based around 1970s car culture. It is set to feature Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, who plays a street racer that joins a New York-to-Los Angeles race to avenge the death of his friend.
Cudi is cast as a member of Paul’s crew. Need for Speed is scheduled to release on February 7, 2014.
