Wale Reacts to Grammy Nomination

Last night, the Grammy Awards revealed the nominees for their 55th annual event, set to go down in February 2013. Vets of the ceremony like Kanye West and Jay-Z again earned a number of nods, as they secured six nominations, including for Best Rap Song for "Niggas in Paris." In that category, they'll be facing a some formidable opponents, including Wale, whose "Lotus Flower Bomb," featuring Miguel, is also up for the award.

XXL got in touch with the MMG rapper to see how the news made him feel. "I was speechless when I first heard the news," he said via e-mail. ""'No days off' paid off and I'm just glad I've got something to celebrate with my team."
