Somebody done went and got the Kang mad. But he isn’t telling who. On T.I.’s new album Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, there is a song called “Addresses” where Tip goes in on an unnamed adversary. During an interview last night on DJ Drama’s Shade45 sattelite radio show, T.I. addressed the song and situation that sparked it, but left all names to the imagination.

“It was direct. Now the thing about who it was directed too, it benefits them more than it benefits me, for me to put it out there,” he said. “So I made it directly in a way only they will know. Therefore they cannot get any shine off of it.”

T.I. went on to say he and the rapper he has a misunderstanding with had a sit down meeting about their differences and left on cool terms. Only for T.I. to hear later that said rapper was still running off at the mouth. According to the Atlanta MC that disrespect is what sparked the “Addresses” song. There is speculation that Alley Boy or Gucci Mane is subject of Tip’s ire. But the Grand Hustle head refused to give anyone that spotlight.

“I’m gonna make a prediction here on Shade45,” he told Drama. “There shall be a few rappers that feel they will be benefited by accepting that burden and they will step up into that line of fire knowing that it is not them, but they feel it is better for them to step into that line of fire, be hit and receive the benefits that come with being hit by a T.I. bullet. That will be the greatest thing that has ever happened to them in their life.”
