Ludacris is suing a couple from Texas who have used his trademark record label name “Disturbing tha Peace” without his permission, TMZ reports.

Luda filed the lawsuit this month claiming Demetri and Donna Evans-Brown are using his well-known phrase to help promote their equipment and music recording business.

The “Jingalin’” rapper says he owns the rights to “Disturbing tha Peace” since 2003. The name is used for his 2005 album as well. Luda is concerned that the couple’s use of the name could confuse his fans.

He is asking the judge to order the couple to stop using his trademark phrase. He is seeking an unspecified amount and attorney fees.
