Jay-Z to Reportedly Score Upcoming “The Great Gatsby” Film

Jay-Z is reportedly set to score the upcoming film adaption of a classic American novel, The Great Gatsby.

Jeymes Samuel of The Bullitts confirmed on Twitter that he is writing the score with Hov, saying, "it is too DOPE for words!" Early clues of his involvement were found in the film’s trailer, where the lifestyle of Jay Gatsby was set to “No Church in the Wild.”

Back in April, cast members of The Great Gatsby leaked information about director Baz Luhrmann playing some Jay-Z on the set. The film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire hits theaters on May 10, 2013.
