Earlier this week, 50 Cent announced that his new album, Street King Immortal, will be hitting stores on February 26, 2013. He's well aware that the album—whose most recent single "My Life," featuring Eminem and Adam Levine also hit the 'net this week—will probably be compared to Get Rich or Die Tryin', Fif's celebrated opus which will be turning 10 in February. But don't expect a duplicate of his breakout.

"Hold me to the greater quality," to Queens rapper told MTV of his upcoming release. "Don't hold me to the exact content, don't hold me to the production, don't play both albums next to each other and say, 'Which track do I like better?'"

He hopes fans will give the music a chance. "Just listen to the actual project itself and you'll see the growth and how I'm seasoned. I'm 10 years in now. I'm not under any circumstances in a position that I'm not comfortable or able to function in any area of entertainment at this point."
